MEET SHIRLEY!
My mother gave me the name Shirley way back in the
days, because of Shirley Temple. She
also gave me the middle name of “Faith”.
Little did I know, that I would not only use that for the name of my
Business, my License Plate, artifacts in my home galore, clothing, jewelry; but
that I would be spending a large amount of life trying to live up to the word.
. .Faith. It became a mission for me to
be a Pollyanna of Faith to everyone I came in contact with. If I learned something new. (Aha moments) I
absolutely had to share it with others.
It could be a brand-new supplement that helps you keep from having so
many colds each year, or a new lipstick that stays on 24 hours. A Bible verse that just hit home and became
real. A store that sold special scriptural sayings. And, of course, it would mean that counseling
helped me so much to find God, find Conviction – Commitment and then Change;
which led to being a Christian Counselor.
Why wouldn’t any of us want to help others find peace, confidence,
empowerment, freedom in the name of Jesus Christ.
