PEARLS FOR 2020!

Hello Ladies!

It is January 9th, 2020 and I don't know about you, I like to come into a new year with hopes for Commitment and Change.  However first, I believe we need conviction in order to even set goals.

I wrote out three things I wanted in 2020, then I wrote out three things I wanted to achieve as well.
Things perhaps I haven't used in prior years as often as I would like.

As a single woman now at a very late stage in life, I find this all very daunting.  I look 55 and act 12.
All of 2019 I tried to find out who I really was.  Oh Boy did I ever.  So, I read about this idea of string pearls.  I love jewelry and most women do.  So I took this neat chain (rose gold of course) and started to put pearls of wisdom on that chain.  It goes like this.  When you say Yes to God, I put a new pearl on my chain.  Example, you ask?  I said, Yes to giving up or surrendering my self-protection behaviors.  Was that hard, you bet.  Its much safer when you feel threatened to just walk away.  Gave it up for healing on October 20th 2019 at church.  2020.  Its gone.  I am serious.  I try to bring it back, and I can't.  So I put a pearl on my string.  It is a great reminder/symbology to remember.

What do you need to say yes to God about?  What does Jesus need to help you lay at the cross and walk away from?  Negativism, potty mouth stuff, gossip, "need to be right", sneaking food and sweets and then wondering why you get comments about weight?  You know what they are.  James 4: 7.  Submit, resist, the enemy has wto go.  Deuteronomy 31: 8 in Amplified version. (You Read It). Here is how I remember it each day.

The Lord goes before you,  (that means, He already knows what you are doing, and want to do, He knows the future.).  The Lord walks with you in this journey. (Therefore, whatever it is you are going through, asking for, suffering over, HE WALKS IT WITH YOU!  What more do you need to know to be prompted to say Yes, where you need to say Yes.
He is never going to let me down, fail me, or abandon me, So what the heck, girl, no need to be depressed, discouraged, disappointed, and unnerved about anything.

Your other assignment my friends, is to read all of Psalm 25.

What is God saying to me?

What do I need to do about it, or apply it to my life?

When do I need to do that?

A Prayer request for Jesus:

What was my result from say8ing yes?

  1. He has lead me to you again my friend. (Sighing) My fear has been acknowledged and forgiven. I hope that you can forgive me too. Thank you for following where He leads. I’m not sure how to follow your blog but will figure it out. Peace be with you.
